Christmas Eve at the Stimpson Home

The entire Stimpson Family: Both Parents, All Kids, All Grandkids, and All Daughter/Son-In-Laws. I'd write out everyone's names, but I'm not sure which of the baby twins is which.

Charity with her cousins, Stephenny and Lydia. I think Stephenny is the one on the right.

Our little family in our new PJ's!

Hard at Work

Lee has been helping his family sheet rock his parent's basement. They have been working on one of his younger sister's (Sarah) room.

Yum, Cake!

Here are some pictures of Charity's cake (and cupcake for her to destroy). I made the cake, with the help of Helen Bratt and Lisa Lusk (Thanks). It originally was planned to be a giant cupcake, but it evolved during the process of creation. We all think it turned out pretty cute. Oh, and there are still leftovers if anyone is interested, both of Lee's and Charity's birthday cakes.

The bottom layer of the cake was vanilla and chocolate cake and was supposed to be in a checkered board pattern.

Charity really really enjoyed her first taste of cake. She especially loved all of the frosting. It was a fun mess to clean up afterwards. Happy Birthday, Miss Charity!

Here's a before picture of Charity's cupcake.

Lee's little cousins liked decorating the top of the cake some more after the party.

Rick & Sofi's Wedding

Lee's brother, Rick, just got married this weekend to Sofi (from Sonora, CA). Their wedding and reception were absolutely beautiful. Here's some fun pics and clips from the wedding.

Rick & Sofi exiting the Rexburg Temple as a married couple.

Lee and Charity discover a secret passage way. They find that it leads up to the tower.
The reception center was a converted church building. It was neat to find secret passageways, hidden staircases, and much more. It was a beautiful place.

Charity had fun peaking out the windows that seemed made just for her.

Here's a picture of the girls in their red dresses.
Here's a fun clip of the bouquet being tossed - twice.
There was lots of fancy and yummy food to enjoy!
Glenn found his own little secret hideout, massage chair included.

Elder Glenn!

Lee's brother, Glenn, just came home from his mission (Washington, DC). Charity and Glenn got to meet for the first time. At first things were awkward as Charity didn't quite know him and Glenn hadn't held a baby for 2 years. But after some snacks and slobber later they became good friends.

Danielle's Graduation

Danielle has finally graduated! Wahooo! She now has completed her BSW (Social Work) and after we know where we are going when Lee graduates she can start applying for her licensee in that state.

Whew! Thank goodness that's over!

Lee and I experienced the joys of Black Friday for the first time. We were mostly tired and bored. We went out to IF and headed out super early (12 something AM) to ToysRUs first (They were supposed to open at Midnight), but their line was ridiculous. It went from the store to the road then wrapped around the parking lot. Holy cow! Did these people not know how cold it was outside. So then we just went to SuperWalmart (which is a 24H store, so we could go in and shop). Well, we weren't allowed to buy our sale items until 5AM. So we had a lot of nothing to do. It did take some time to find what we wanted because the sale items were not anywhere near the departments you'd expect them to be in. (Lee's gift [which I'm not going to tell] was in the baby section of all places, and mine [a Cricut!] was next to the pharmacy). Eventually, we got out of there, we were the first in line and had what must have been the slowest and most perfectionistic cashier.
After Walmart we went to BedBath&Beyond and then off to Michaels [for Cricut cartridges]. Then we were done. (I just ordered what we wanted from ToysRUs online and got free shipping too!)

Speaking of Cricut! I love mine! Lee let me open it early so that I could get started on the invites for Charity's 1st birthday party. For those who are unfamiliar with the term a Cricut is kind of like a printer, but instead of printing it cuts (although it could print too, but not the same as a printer). You collect and borrow cartridges like video games. (The cartridges give you different fonts or shapes or etc to cut out).  So, instead of buying a Wii game for me for Christmas, Lee knows to get me new cartridges. What a sweetie!
